Parent Involvement

Parents know their child better than anyone, and caregivers' experience, training and skills make them excellent resources for parents. Therefore, it is important that parents and caregivers work as partners to help the children grow and learn.

HOW TO BECOME INVOLVED IN YOUR CHILD'S CARE:

  1. Communicate with your child's caregiver about your child's background, likes, dislikes, needs, etc.
  2. Have regular parent-caregiver meetings.
  3. Spend some extra time with your child during drop-off and pick-up.
